FORMER Worcester City winger Jamie Hyde has joined Dr Martens Western Division club Stourport Swifts.
Walshes Meadow manager Dave Titterton believes he will be an asset once he gets match fit.
"Jamie hasn't played much this season and is a way off fitness, but the lad's got ability and the bonus is he's left-footed," said Titterton.
"He came down on Tuesday night, we agreed a few things and he's got the chance to get himself fit and play a few games."
Meanwhile, John Shirley has left the club to move down south to train as a primary school teacher. "John will be a loss because technically he's the most gifted player we had," said Titterton.
Tamworth's Phil Trainer has been lined up to replace him on an initial loan deal though he won't feature in their FA Cup clash with Rugby United at the weekend.
