KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies made an early exit from the FA Cup, going down 12-1 to a strong Leicester city side on Sunday in the first qualifying round.

Harriers' only goal arrived in the 88th minute through 15-year-old Sue Stokes, making her full debut.

Stokes fired in left footed from 16 yards to beat the keeper at the far post.

Harriers had a tough time against National League opposition who also knocked them out of the cup last year.

But they expect to be more competitive in the West Midlands League Premier Division after promotion.

They open with a home game against West Brom on Sunday.

Fixture, Sunday: Harriers Ladies v West Brom (at Wilden Village Cricket Club, kick-off 2pm).

Squad: Baldwin, Jones, Thorpe, Haswell, Barber, L Stokes, Freeman, S Stokes, Pollard, Rogers, Hyde, Holmes, Smith, Preece, Horner, Hurdiss, Roberts, Bowdler.
