RESILIENT Chaddesley Corbett recovered from a two-goal deficit to gain a hard-earned point at unbeaten Bridgnorth Town Reserves in West Midlands League Division One South.
Goals from Chris Bow, Ian Vogel and Craig Pratt gave Chaddesley the 3-3 draw, while Lee Williams was denied a last-minute winner by a fine save.
Keeper Ian Harvey, signed from Bewdley, and experienced defender Steve Lowe made their debuts with the former making two good early stops.
Chaddesley dominated the next 15 minutes with Pratt and Bow denied by the Bridgnorth keeper before the home side took over and went a goal up.
Within 10 minutes of the second half, poor defending put them two behind and then ex-Redditch player Jamie Williams suffered suspected ligament damage that could rule him out for months.
Nic Oakley replaced J Williams and was perhaps the catalyst behind a superb last half-an-hour.
Bow slotted home a penalty after a defender, under pressure from Oakley, handled a Vogel flick-on from Gavin Knight's long free-kick.
Bridgnorth pinched a third from a set-piece and hit the bar but Chaddesley pulled another goal back on 75 minutes when Oakley's free-kick was headed past the on-rushing keeper by Vogel.
They grabbed a fine equaliser four minutes later when Bow and Neil Lucas combined to set up Pratt who made no mistake with a far-post finish. Chaddesley man-of-the-match was Brian Burton.
