KIDDERMINSTER angler Mick Penn caught five trout to 2lb on the Stella Lake at Shatterford Fishery.
But, despite Penn's catch with a buzzer, the most successful flies on the lake were viva and cats whisker.
On the Andy Capp, where the best proved to be viva and montana, an angler caught eight trout to 1lb, using a bold ribbed hare's ear.
Luncheonmeat was popular on the Erics where one angler caught a 41lb catfish of 33lb 12oz and another landed two catfish to 37lb 5oz.
The Gainsborough yielded a 22lb silver carp, a 15lb catfish and a 15lb carp to a Walsall angler, using boilies.
Mixed bags of roach, bream and carp to 40lb were reported on the Stuarts.
This fishery is open every day from 8am until 9pm.
