TENNIS: Bewdley are targeting a place in October's regional finals of the Peugeot Inter-club Challenge.
They play their area final, one of 16 in the country, against Knowle and Dorridge on Sunday at Esporta, Warwickshire.
A victory at the weekend and then success at the regionals against either Leamington or Manor Park would take them through to the grand final.
It will be contested at the highly rated La Manga Club in south-east Spain in November.
Bewdley have beaten Boughton, Streetly and Warwick on their way to the current stage.
Steve Harris, manager of marketing partnerships at Peugeot, said: "Winning a place in the area finals is a major achievement. Bewdley should be extremely pleased.
"The talent is very strong again this year and we're very proud to see the Peugeot Inter-club Challenge producing such great tennis."
