ARCHERY: Father-and-son field archery aces Ron and Steve Harvey proved their aim is still true with a gold treble at the European Championships.
The Stourport duo travelled to Finland to tackle rough woodland terrain, hitting targets at different distances over five days of competitive shooting.
Ron, 64, claimed a gold in the veteran bowhunter compound category to get back on track after having to be content with a silver last year.
He collected 2,032 points to finish more than 800 above fellow countryman Mike Murray.
Steve, 35, collected a second successive win at the event by triumphing in the bowhunter limited division over seven field archers from England and Finland with 2,510 points.
The England international also collected a team gold along with Jack Pearson and Adrian Di Paola.
