A DRAMATIC ending to the Worcestershire Board U-15s Championship saw KVCC awarded the honours against Dominies and Guild at Feckenham.
Both sides scored 120-8 but KVCC were awarded the trophy after scoring more runs from 19 of the allotted 20 overs.
Winning the toss, KVCC asked Dominies to bat and runs came quickly for the Worcester side.
But the bowlers stuck to their task with Steve Yardsley (2-10), Dan Hill (2-23), Richard Eyers (2-20) and Andy Kimberlin (1-29) restricting them.
In reply, KVCC lost early wickets and were struggling at 27-3 before Yardsley ( 33) and Hill (32) put on 55 runs for the fourth wicket.
They needed three runs to win from one ball with Sam Mills and James Cryer doing well for two runs to level the scores.
Dominies 120-8, KVCC U-15s 120-8.
