FORMER captain Matt Boden helped Chaddesley Corbett's Worcestershire League Division One season end on a winning note.
Boden put together an excellent 71 runs in a high-scoring five-wicket success at Pershore, helped by Paul Lyman (55 not out) and Justin Woods (46).
Pershore had earlier totalled 244-7 but Chaddesley earned 20 points and finished in eighth place.
Pershore 244-7, Chaddesley Corbett 245-5.
Chaddesley seconds were over-taken by Pershore in the table following a losing home draw.
Bowler Tom Mole, who has claimed a series of spectacular hauls this season, was at it again with 7-49.
But, despite Andy Martin's 72 with the bat, Chaddesley had to hold on for nine points.
Pershore 222-9, Chaddesley Corbett 2nds 175-8.
