MAY I say a big thank you to everyone involved in winning the Gold Award in the Heart of England competition? It is impossible to thank so many people. A special thank you to all the shops and offices for contributing. There were not many who did not give the friendly welcome to their premises.
I, like many people, have shown people around the town and have always received the same comment: "Alcester has such a friendly community, how is it all done?"
My answer is: "The people care and have pride in the town where they work and live." Thank you all. It is appreciated by so many.
