BROMSGROVE'S Joe Rowe and Chris Poole rode superbly in the 36-mile LVRC North Bucks RC Road Race at Towcester on Sunday.
In a field of 45 riders, Rowe finished third overall and second in his age category while Poole was 12th overall and fifth in his age category.
Rowe was also in action in the LVRC National Circuit Championships at the Curborough Circuit near Lichfield 24 hours earlier.
In a medal position going into the sprint, Rowe was forced onto the grass by another rider and finished a disappointing 12th.
Bromsgrove's Howard Jones fifnished fifth in the LVRC North Bristol CC 45-mile road race at Thornbury on Sunday. He was also third in his age group.
