THE spa came alive this weekend when Droitwich Spa Baptist Church marked their 130th anniversary with a flower festival.
Over 200 residents turned out to the charity event at the church in Ombersley Way to mark the occasion.
The flower festival, along the theme of thanksgiving, was accompanied with mid-morning coffee and a Ploughman's lunch. All proceeds went to the Air Ambulance service.
Organiser, Barbara Pope said they managed to raise over £467.50 for the charity. Barbara said:"The event went very well. The Salvation Army attended and a spokesperson from the Air Ambulance attended to talk to us about the work of the charity and sell Christmas cards."
The event, is part of a festival year to celebrate their birthday in 2004.
