FIVE Ways succombed to a five-wicket Warwickshire League Division 3 defeat at the hands of Ambleside on the penultimate day of the season.
Five Ways were put into bat, making 109 all out with their opponents sweeping to victory in relative ease (113-5).
The Hopwood club, who look likely to finish second from bottom, now face rivals Wythall this Saturday (12.30pm). Wythall lost by 68 runs to promoted Walsall last Saturday.
