GENTLEMEN looking for a made-to-measure suit may notice something different the next time they visit a traditional town tailor.

Outlook Bespoke Tailors has a new shop sign, which honours both the age-old art of handmade suits and the historical premises the store occupies.

Situated in St John Street, Outlook takes up part of one of Bromsgrove's oldest buildings, well preserved since 1674.

The new sign features a portrait of a bespoke tailor painted in 1672, a time when English tailoring was acknowledged as the best in the world.

Despite the historical connection, Outlook prides itself on using cutting edge technology to bring the trade bang up to date.

A specially commissioned piece of computer software allows customers to participate in the design of their suit, trousers or casual wear.

Master tailors, Geoff Vaughan and Keith Simmons then make the suit to measure using the finest Saville Row fabrics.
