Len Salt entertained his audience as he explained numerous ways of creating and enhancing a small garden.
His love of old plants and his fascination with the old fashioned names made for an interesting, as well as nostalgic, evening. We look forward to having a return visit in the future.
On September 24, we welcome Neil Cook, head gardener at Hanbury Hall, who will show us slides and tell us about the recreation of Hanbury Hall gardens. It is through his hard work and enthusiasm that the wonderful lost gardens have been brought back to life for the present generation to enjoy. The work includes the restored crown bowling green, which is now available to use. Visitors are welcome, starts at 8pm at St Saviours Hall, West Hagley.
