THE 21st birthday of the Midland Game Fair promises to be the biggest and best event to date.
Taking place on the third weekend of September - the 20th and 2st at Weston Park, Shropshire - the Midland is planning to attract more than 60,000 people.
In celebration of the its coming of age there will be many new events and activities as well as all the old favourites. With 14 live arenas, providing visitors with world-class entertainment throughout the weekend, including star performances from the Band of the Blues & Royals, it promises to be a birthday party to remember.
The competitions this year will be the best the Midland has ever seen.
The Salmon and Trout Association are celebrating their 100th birthday this year, which will be marked by a live display of 100 years of Game Angling; a spectacular event that promises to be both educational and entertaining.
There will also be a new 4x4 arena this year, sponsored by Mitsubishi. Visitors will have the opportunity to have a go.
