AUDIENCE participation is a must in a rip-roaring, double-whammy of a show at the Norbury Theatre, which opens this Friday.

The Droitwich Spa playhouse is putting on a two-part show requiring a fun-loving and very vocal audience.

The first part of the show is a production of Gilbert and Sullivan's musical Trial by Jury. However, with just a handful of actors on stage it will be up to the audience to provide the chorus.

Before the interval revellers are given an opportunity to learn their parts with all the necessary sheet music included in the ticket price.

After a much-needed drink, the audience will then take part in the production of Trial by Jury followed by another interval.

The final part of the evening is a performance of Cox and Box by Arthur Sullivan and FC Burnard featuring acclaimed actors Mike Faulkner, Paul Thompson and Ian Walton.

The show runs for two nights and kicks off at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £6.50, available from the Friar Street booking office on 01905 770154.
