DEAR EDITOR -- Now that John Prescott has decided Lickey End must have a Parish Council, perhaps the anti-parish councillors that were elected could 'meet' for one minute and choose a charity to send a 1p contribution from each household in the parish (i.e. their parish rates).
Problem solved, no unnecessary long council meetings and barely any costs to parishioners.
