THE start of the new season of the Nationwide Doors and Windows Billiards League saw last season's champions St Johns 'B' get off to a flying start with a 4-0 win at home to Callow End.
Elsewhere, GWR, Heenans 'A', and St Stephens 'A' all had comfortable wins. The highest break, of 45, was made by M Painter, for St Stephens 'A'.
