HEADLESS Cross women got off to a good start with new signing Sarah Day opening the scoring after five minutes in a nine goal thriller.
Redditch equalised shortly with a Rachel Hopkins' 35-yard free kick into the back of second choice keeper Paulfryman's net.
Day then added a second before a mix up in the Cross defence presented Natalie Leroux with a gift of an equaliser.
Boddington and Watson for Headless Cross scored to make it 2-5 at the break.
Redditch came out at the second half with renewed vigour and were unlucky to concede two more goals.
Cross could have added to their mounting tally but for some good keeping from Rebecca Jones.
Redditch player of the match was 'Tommy' Jones.
