PLANS for a housing development in Astwood Bank which prompted concerns about overdevelopment and parking will be discussed on Tuesday.
The application for six houses and eight apartments on Evesham Road was deferred from the last planning committee meeting on August 19 because of concerns about highway safety, overdevelopment of the site and refuse facilities.
Other objections included the style of buildings not being in keeping with others in the area.
In a report, a Redditch Council spokesman said: "With regards to concerns about over-development of the site, officers would advise the ratio of units to the site area would be similar to about 85 units per hectare.
"While this ratio does appear to be high, PPG3 Housing does encourage more efficient use of land, encouraging ratios of 50 dwellings per hectare."
