AFTER a two-month break during which she undertook only light training, Bromsgrove & Redditch Athletics Club's racewalker Sharon Tonks entered the final Coventry Godiva Harriers 5-mile summer league race at the Memorial Park, Coventry.
Although she comfortably won the race she said afterwards it served as a painful wake-up call - time to get back to full time training and winter preparation for next season.
Sharon's racing calendar starts in October with the first of the winter leagues at Worcester.
