A COMPANY that tests electrical products to make sure they are compliant with safety regulations has joined forces with a world-leading certification company.

TRL Compliance Services, based at Malvern, has signed a co-operation agreement with Dutch certification company Kema Quality.

The move in intended to offer customers a "one-stop-solution" and speed up time to market for the electrical and electronic products the company tests for major manufacturers.

Testing

The joint service agreement will see TRL provide electrical safety and electro magnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, backed by official certification from Kema so products can display Kema's internationally-recognised safety mark.

Kema Quality's UK team will be based at TRL's headquarters, in Long Green, near Malvern.

"TRL and KEMA share the same company ethos of quality and flexibility to meet rapidly changing demands," said Paul Harris, TRL's managing director".
