I AM a pensioner with a concessionary bus pass that I renew every year.

This allows me to travel on any route to and from Worcester for the price of 45p return.

Since the introduction of the new ticket machines, I have been told by some drivers that I cannot use my return ticket to travel on two different routes.

When I queried this I was told: "The bus company has installed new machines that print the name of the stop you get on and off on the ticket, making that the only route you can use your ticket on."

I can understand this rule applying to a person paying full fare, as each stop varies in price.

This does not apply to a concessionary ticket as all routes and stops are the same price.

On my bus pass it says: "Wholly within the Worcester City boundary, valid at all times, 30p single and 45p return" which has always meant return on any route.
