A RIK Halion hat-trick secured Malvern's fifth victory in six West Midlands League Premier Division outings with a 4-1 success at home to Bustlehome on Saturday.
MALVERN TOWN 4, BUSTLEHOLME 1
The result was never really in doubt, once Halion deflected Adam Baldwin's free kick past a helpless visting keeper after only 10 minutes.
Five minutes later Halion's excellent far post cross, picked out Scott Morris, whose header across the face of the goal, enabled Lee Hooper to easily put Town two goals in front.
After 30 minutes a superb Halion solo effort put Malvern three goals to the good and only the crossbar and post denied Des Cox and Baldwin further goal's for Town.
In the 50th minuten Des Cox was hauled down in the box, and Halion comfortably converted the resultant penalty, to put his side four up, and to also secure a deserved hat-trick.
Town lost their way a little after Halion's penalty, and Nathan Granvile pulled a goal back for the visitor's after 70 minutes.
Town though were always in the ascendancy and held out comfortably for a deserved success.
