SKIPPER Ben Smith has pledged that Worcestershire Royals will go into tomorrow's floodlit National League match against Warwickshire Bears at Edgbaston with a 'very positive' attitude despite his side being relegated from division one.
He said: "There's a lot of pride to play for and we have also got to put on a good show for the supporters as well. It will be a good game of cricket and we'll go there very positive and looking to get a win out of it.
"Our last game of the season will be against Essex Eagles in front of our own crowd so there's still a lot to play for."
Smith indicated that changes would be made for tomorrow's clash although there would be no question of 'ripping the team apart'.
The County will be on a revenge mission having lost to Warwickshire twice in limited-over competitions this season.
The Twenty20 Cup game ag-ainst them ended in a 20 runs win for the 'old enemy' who won the National League game at New Road by eight wickets.
