BULLIES victim Emma Smith has returned to her Worcester high school this week, after her parents agreed to give it one more chance.

The 13-year-old has suffered numerous attacks since she started at Elgar Technology College, two years ago, including being slapped, spat at and almost pushed out of a second-floor window.

However, Emma's parents met headteacher Tony James on Wednesday, September 3, and agreed to keep their daughter at the Bilford Road school.

"We will give it another go," said Colin Smith, from Blackpole, Worcester.

"The school seems to have taken our concerns on board and we will have to wait and see.

"She's been back for two days now and there's been some name calling, but I don't think we will cure the problem. We'll give it a week and see what happens."

Mr James said the meeting had been positive and Emma had enjoyed her time back at school.

"She's been here for two days and has been very happy," he said.

"Mr and Mrs Smith said that academically they had no problems with Elgar and things seem to be going well at the moment."
