FORMER Malvern Town player Darren Bullock, who was linked briefly with the club last season, has been banned from football until June 8, 2004.
Bullock, of Portland Street, Worcester, started a Football Association suspension of 35 days on August 25, for playing under suspension, and then a Worcestershire Football Association suspension of 70 days for offensive and abusive remarks to a referee, which starts on September 29.
At a recent WFA disciplinary hearing, Bullock was suspended for 182 days, to start on December 8, and fined £150, after charges of threatening a referee and common assault on a referee were found proven, although there is still a right of appeal to the FA.
A former Nationwide League professional player, Bullock was hoping to continue his career this season with Bromsgrove Rovers.
