WORCESTER City have had a second departure from their squad in the space of 24 hours.
Following Mitch Counsell's move to Dr Martens rivals Bath City, young midfielder Dean Smith has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Smith, a product of the club's Football Development scheme in conjunction with Worcester College of Technology, had made a handful of first-team appearances.
Manager John Barton said: "Dean's circumstances have changed since he signed the contract in May.
"Since leaving college he has moved to the London area and we both felt that these circumstances would not give him the best chance to fulfil his potential."
