THE Conservative group on Malvern Hills District Council is calling for improved access to NHS dental care in the town.
A report commissioned by Worcestershire County Council has stated that access to dental care is inadequate in Malvern.
Conservative group leader Paul Cumming said that the council should look at the case for a dental access centre on Pickersleigh Road, as part of the development of NHS surgery facilities on the site.
This would be in addition to a £270,000 purpose-built centre being built in Osborne Road.
He said: "While we have the opportunity to review this, we should make sure this is tackled."
