THERE will be no service at St John the Evangelist Church, Pauntley on Sunday, August 31. The congregation is invited to join in the nine parishes service of holy communion in Kempley Church at 10am.
On Sunday, September 7, there will be a 9.30am parish communion conducted by the Rev. Andrew Perry.
On Sunday, August 24, there was evening prayer conducted by Mrs Jessie Williams. The sermon was preached by the Rector, the Reverend Patricia Phillips, who took as her theme St Bartholomew, whose feast day it was. Mrs Emma England read the lesson and Mr Eric Solesbury acted as sidesman.
