BUILDERS have finished work to create £500,000 worth of new homes on Droitwich's largest estate.
Spa Housing Association has built seven new rented homes, for local people, at Woodmans Way on the Westlands estate.
The seven two and three-bedroom properties are part of a regeneration scheme jointly funded by the Housing Corporation and Wychavon District Council.
The homes replace unpopular three-storey houses and a redundant garage courtyard.
Spa Housing Association manages around 3,200 homes in and around the Droitwich area.
Executive director of Spa Housing Association Clare Huyton said: "All of the properties have been built to the new Lifetime Homes Standard, meaning they can be adapted for tenants' future requirements.
