THE Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Broadway is helping Ma-millan in its quest to break the record for the world's biggest ever coffee morning in September.

The record was broken last year for the world's largest simultaneous party when more than 545,000 people drank coffee and made a donation to the charity.

In Worcestershire, 352 coffee mornings raised more than £52,000 which contributed to the national total of £3.2million.

On Friday September 26, staff at Edinburgh Woollen Mill will be brewing up and helping to beat that target.

Jon Rayner, organiser for Macmillan Cancer Relief in Worcestershire, said: "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is such an easy and enjoyable way to raise money to help people in the county living with cancer. In the 13th year of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, we are hoping to break our world record yet again, and this will raise even more money to fund our vital services.

"Money raised by the World's Biggest Coffee Morning will help us to fund three new specialist Macmillan nurses in Wor-cestershire

Macmillan desperately need more people to get involved and host coffee mornings. To receive a free fundraising pack, call the hotline on 0845 602 1246 or log onto www.worldsbiggestcoff-eemorning.org.uk.
