THE season is rapidly drawing to a close and there are many crucial issues to be decided in the Crusader Worcestershire County League.

The last set of games in Divisions Three to Six take place on Saturday, with Divisions One and Two concluding the following week.

Evesham are poised to return to the Birmingham League with a second successive promotion, and can clinch the Division One crown if they win at Chaddesley Corbett on Saturday.

Ombersley, who are at Luctonians, are the only team who can catch them.

At the bottom Pedmore are down and Hagley will join them if they fail to win at Droitwich and Pershore achieve more points in their game at Bromyard.

Brockhampton have already won Division Two and victory for Bewdley at Feckenham will see them go up also.

Oldswinford are almost certainly down and Hereford City, who go to Worcester Nomads, are favourites to join them.

The most intriguing battle is at the top of Division Three. Kidderminster Victoria are champions, but four clubs can still claim the second promotion spot.

Belbroughton are second but they must go to Victoria for their last match, while a point behind are both Lye, who entertain Birlingham, and Barnards Green. The latter visit Rushwick who are eight points further back and are still in with a shout themselves.

At the bottom Alveley are already down and above them Birlingham are eight points adrift of Worcester Dom-inies and Guild, who finish at Enville.

In Division Four it's cut and dried with Harborne champions and Avoncroft also promoted -- there is no relegation.

It's Stourbridge versus Highley for the Division Five crown -- they visit Brintons and Cutnall Green respectively with Stourbridge four points ahead. Hewell will fill the one relegation spot.

The Division Six promotion places will go to any two from Belbroughton (221 points), West Malvern (218), Stone (210) or Chain-Wire (209). Stone v Belbrough-ton is the big game, while newcomers West Malvern entertain Stourbridge Social and Chain-Wire go to Hallow.
