A THREE-YEAR-OLD Harvington boy with a terminal illness could soon have the tricycle he has always dreamed of, thanks to community spirit in the village.
Doctors previously told Kate and Andy Hall that their son Isaac's condition was too unstable for him to have the tricycle they had planned to buy.
Isaac suffers from Hunter Syndrome, a rare genetic illness which affects only 500 children in the world.
But now the family have found a suitable bike and residents in Harvington have planned a sponsored 15-mile run to raise the money the family needs.
The run will take place on Saturday, September 27, starting and finishing at the village hall.
Organisers hope as many people as possible will support their venture.
They are currently visiting all residents in the village to raise sponsorship.
They hope they can exceed their £650 target for the Crest 88 tricycle to provide other equipment for Isaac.
