THE Young Vic Theatre Company are bringing a new adaptation of Hobson's Choice to the Everyman at Cheltenham in September.
Tanika Gupta's adaptation transforms Harold Brighouse's boot-making family into a dress-making family within Salford's Asian community.
The eldest daughter, Durga, marries against her father's wishes and sets up a rival business but then faces the tough decision of fighting against her father or finding a way to join forces.
Hobson's Choice runs from September 16 to 20 and tickets from £6 to £17 are available from the box office on 01242 572573.
