PET lovers are being asked to "paws" for a second and consider providing a home for a loveable dog.
Titch, a 16-year-old female Jack Russell cross, has been cared for for the past two years by owner Margaret Kirkwood, of Cecilia Avenue, Worcester.
The pet used to belong to her father, Dave, who had her for 14 years, but she has looked after Titch since he died two years ago.
However Mrs Kirkwood travels a lot and Titch does not like to be left alone at home.
She has tried all sorts of solutions including dog sitters but now plans to go abroad this winter and hopes to find a new home for the loveable scamp.
"She needs somebody who is at home with her almost all of the time because she just doesn't like being left on her home and gets quite distressed," said Mrs Kirkwood.
"She is a lovely, affectionate little dog and loves company."
Anyone interested in providing a home for Titch can contact Mrs Kirkwood on 01905 428116.
