MID-TABLE Chaddesley Corbett's season continued to peter out with a draw and defeat over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Ian Chambers (45) and Kevin Truswell (44) guided Chaddesley to 228-8 on Monday against Ombersley.
But the high-flying home side eventually took the victory by four wickets to remain second in the table.

Eastnor's 283-4 proved too much on Saturday, though Paul Lyman continued his good run with 70 runs.
Matt Boden (41) and Andy Law (40) also contributed useful innings in a losing draw.

Tom Boden (75 not out) and Rob Stephens (44 not out) powered Chaddesley seconds home against Ombersley on Monday.
They claimed a 10-wicket win with Dave Perry earlier taking 4-27.

Perry's 6-23 on Saturday was instrumental in Eastnor's collapse for 71 runs.
