JOHN Phillpott says (Evening News, August 18) that he's not noted for his sartorial elegance.
Neither am I - this time of year, I practically live in open-necked shirts and jeans (yes, at 66).
However, I change my shirt, pants and socks every day, and my jeans once a week. I keep my bow tie for special occasions - such as having tea with the Queen.
