A FORMER King's School pupil and an Evesham-born impressionist have earned themselves places among the top 100 greatest TV stars of all time.
Chris Tarrant and Alistair McGowan ranked 41 and 42 respectively in the list compiled by the Daily Express Saturday Magazine.
The list was compiled based on the votes of TV stars and TV bosses in the UK.
David Jason beat off Morecambe and Wise in second and his old comedy partner Ronnie Barker in third to be declared the greatest TV star ever.
John Cleese came fourth, with the remainder of the top 10 being made up of Jonathon Ross, John Thaw, Michael Parkinson, David Attenborough, Julie Walters and Tommy Cooper.
The highest ranked non-Brit was Oprah Winfrey at 21.
Among those noticeably absent from the list were Frankie Howerd, Richard Wilson and Wilfred Bramble.
