I WOULD like to congratulate the head teacher, staff and pupils at my old school, Clifton on Teme, for their wonderful achievement in becoming top village school in the country.
I attended the village school from 1929 to 1938. We lived in the house now called Hope Wynd. The head master at that time was George Carter and one of the teachers was Miss Mason who later married and became Mrs Ronald Rogers. The name of the other teacher escapes me.
