IN an exciting WCL match Nomads just failed to match Old Elizabethans score of 244-3 for whom Lewis (111), Walker (51no) and Dorr (49) dominated the Nomads bowlers.

In reply, a good opening stand between Ranscombe (84) and Massey (54), laid the foundation for a spirited reply as the later batsman pressed Old Elizabethans hard.
Davies among the lower order scored an excellent 46 but his demise in the last two overs halted the charge with Nomads 19 short.
