EASTNOR were put into bat first against Pershore and lost their first wicket with only two runs on the board.

Pershore enjoyed the better start, with only 72 runs coming off the first 20 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Jabran Khalid, batting at number three, scored a fine 48. Arshad helped the score rate with a brisk 29, along with Steve Emery, who was run out for 32. A fine innings from Nick Bollen of 41 allowed Eastnor to enjoy the final 10 overs. They put bat to ball and Shahid finished not out on 30, with a final score for Eastnor of 223-8.
In reply, things looked bad for Pershore when they lost their first wicket with only one run on the board. Other opener S Cooper survived an early scare and went on to score a fine 42.
Luck was yet again to help Pershore when P Oxley looked out to a fine catch by Rees, only to have the delivery called a no ball.
Oxley finished unbeaten for 72 after 50 overs, but Pershore could not reach their target and finished the innings on 197-9 with T Riddings scoring 24.
Shahid (4-47) and Jim Sandford (4-69) had kept Pershore under pressure with Eastnor picking up 16 points and Pershore gaining eight.
