MALVERN Town have suffered a blow to their pre season schedule today, when Midlands Alliance newcomers Westfields pulled out of their proposed friendly at Malvern on Saturday (August 9), due to an injury crisis.
Town general manager Richard Anson said: "Although these things can't always be helped, it is a blow for us as we were keen to field as close to our starting line up as possible, for next week's Express and Star West Midlands League Premier Division opener."
Anson continued: "Although it is late in the day, if any team at any level of the pyramid, is looking for a game home or away on Saturday, we would keen to hear from them."
