YOUNG Europeans have visited Malvern to share their views on the future of rural communities.

Around 50 youngsters from across the continent, including groups from Bulgaria, Poland, Italy and Sweden, met with town youngsters at the Mal-vern Hills Outdoor Centre.

The day culminated in an afternoon of multimedia presentations and a question time with Worcestershire county councillors, community leaders and MP Sir Michael Spicer.

The visit was part of a programme of workshops and activities taking in London, Birmingham and Stratford. The youngsters will stay in contact using the internet.

Youth workers from the county council's rural youth work team will address issues raised during the visit.
