WARREN Hegg fears another virtuoso performance from Graeme Hick could end his hopes of lifting his first silverware as Lancashire captain.

"Worcestershire have made some good signings and have brought through players like Vikram Solanki and Kabir Ali -- and, of course, there is always Graeme Hick," stressed the wicketkeeper.

"The last time we played a semi-final at New Road he scored a century and you can never be complacent with him around."

Lancashire will be bolstered by the return of England pair Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson, but batsman Iain Sutcliffe is ruled out with a torn calf.

They have drafted youngster Mark Currie into their squad as cover alongside the more experienced Alec Swann while all-rounder Kyle Hogg is also included despite a lean time recently.
