MALVERN Hills district councillors will visit Powick Service Station before deciding whether to allow two new parking spaces.
Northern area planning sub-committee members said they need to fully assess the potential impact of new spaces. There are particular fears the roots of a protected mature beech tree could be damaged.
Wednesday's meeting was told the service station was the only amenity in Powick since the post office closed last year.
Applicant Priyvadan Rughani wants the extra spaces before he tries to open a new post office at the service station.
