MALVERN Rangers played their first friendly against last season's Worcester League Premier Division champions, Hallow WMC at Powick, courtest of Powick FC.
It took a goal in the last minute of the game to give Hallow a 3-3 draw.
Rangers conceded a goal in the opening minutes, but drew level a minute later through Carl Preece
Russell Bowen gave Rangers an interval lead, scoring after 22 minutes. Hallow drew level 15 minutes into the second half before Mark Taylor again gave Rangers the lead 15 minutes later.
On Wednesday (August 13), Rangers travel to Midlands Combination side Inkberrow for their next friendly.
Rangers opening league fixtures see them visit last season's runners up in the Northern Section, Bilston Town on August 16, followed by a trip to Bridgnorth Town Reserves on August 30. Their first home fixture is against newcomers Cradley Town Reserves on September 13.
