BUSY firefighters were called to a couple of blazes in Malvern.
The first incident happened at about 7.10pm yesterday, when firefighters were called to a fence on fire at Langland Avenue, with one engine from Malvern attending.
It took them about 10 minutes to put out the fire.
Two fire crews from Malvern and the water carrier and off-road vehicle from Evesham then went to a crop fire on Mayfield Road at 9.58pm. They were there until 10.16pm tackling the blaze.
Firefighters were called to another fire at a cornfield on Mayfield Road the day before, on Wednesday at just before 12pm. The cause of the fires is unknown.
