BROADWAY travelled to Littleton for a Concorde League match and came away victorious winning on three of the five rinks for 133-88 win.

On a night of mixed fortunes, Littleton's Colin Shergold came from 16-8 down at ten ends to overcome Peter Springell 30-16.

Teammate Dave Bartlett, meanwhile, scored 14 shots in the last five ends to pip Mark Rainbow 20-19.

However, these losses were compensated by big wins for Broadway trio Graham Ford, Richard Hall and Mick Aubrey.

Broadway then travelled to Droitwich Spa and returned home after a 118-90 when they lost on just one rink.

Rainbow led the way with a comprehensive 31-11 victory, while Phil Taylor claimed two shots on the last end to ensure another success.

The wins increased the club's lead at the top of the table and, with two home games remaining, they must be favourites to retain the title.
