A SHEEP was rescued by firefighters from the River Severn.
The sheep had been reported trapped on an embankment near Bromley Farm, Arley Lane, Arley.
One appliance from the Kidderminster fire station was sent to the scene at 10pm on Saturday.
After carrying out a search, the animal was found and firefighters hauled it from the river before leaving the scene shortly before 11pm.
